The surfing world lost legendary surfboard craftsman Donald Takayama early this week at the age of 68 to a heart attack. Takayama was a pioneer in the surfing community, helping shape the industry that surfing is today. Donald had an extensive career as a talented surfer, world-class shaper, and successful business partner. All of our thoughts are with his family and friends, he will be greatly missed.

The International Boardroom Surfboard Show wrapped up this past weekend with Hydroflex Technology winning the “Best of Show” in the shortboard category together with Robert Weiner.
