Roberts White Diamond is one of the best small wave board combinations available. Dane Reynolds, Taylor Knox, Shane Dorian and many more showed their love to this shape by Robert Weiner. It's a small wave hybrid that blends speed with maneuverability in small surf, but is capable of holding it's edge on a bigger wave.
In general Roberts White Diamond was designed using some of Roberts other small wave models and adding a diamond tail and a single concave. Roberts White Diamond design was made to give a short, wide board more high performance ability. Roberts has left the nose, tail and rails so you can ride this board 5-6 inches shorter and only an inch wider than your standard hi-performance shortboard. This allows the board to fit in the pocket and do tight radius turns!
The rocker of the White Diamond is low in the tail for speed and slightly flipped in the last 8 inches of the nose to allow vertical maneuvers in the pocket. It comes with full rails for stability with tucked hard edges for speed and holding power. Tri fin is standard, but Roberts White Diamond works well as a quad, or as a five fin convertible. Also available in a shortboard style step-up is the "Black Diamond!"
