Mason Ho surfing a Lost Scorcher with Hydroflex Natural Tech at the Hang Loose Pro in Brazil.
OCEANSIDE, Feb. 20, 2012 -- Hydroflex Technology LLC launched a new surfboard technology called
The Natural It is based on the patented Hydroflex 3-D glassing, which is a unique and patented lamination technique in surfboard industry. This eliminates delamination by anchoring the laminate into the foam core like tree roots in the ground. Boards with The Natural tech last 2x longer than standard P/U boards, because of the 3-D glassing.
„They are glassed with epoxy and give you a more natural and lively feel compared to a surfboard glassed with polyester“, says Production Manager Cliff Rossie. Stringer P/U blanks and epoxy resin components keep the boards extremely light weight.
These new boards have excellent flex characteristics similar to the SuperCharger series. They have „Set flex“ and don’t require air. They come without a valve and a pump and they are more affordable than the SuperCharger series.
"Surfers like Kolohe Andino, Carissa Moore, Andrew Doheny and many more asked for the Hydroflex Natural. Recently Mason Ho scored a a perfect 10 on a Hydroflex Natural at the Hangloose 2012 in Fernando de Noronha", says Sales Manager Ed Santos.
Additionally they can be custom made by your favourite local surfboard shaper. Shapers like Matt Biolos, Robert Weiner, The Hydrodynamica Project and Wayne Okamato got boards from Hydroflex built with this new tech. If you’re interested please get in contact with Hydroflex.
