About Daniel Keggie

Born and bred in Durban (South Africa) and fresh out of the water, I was touched by that "surfing feeling" at an early age and have never looked back. My backyard shaping days began when I was eighteen years old. Worked at one of the biggest surfboard factories in the world, and was the right hand man to Spider Murphy at Safari for 8 years.

I'm currently living in Newquay (England), where I am shaping and designing my very own surfboards and look forward to the challanges that lie ahead. My goal is to make all whom I have worked with proud by shaping good quality surfboards and keeping "custom surfboards alive" by true craftsmen.

Daniel Keggie has 14 years experience in surfboard design and shapes and has had the opportunity to work along side World renown shapers has finally opened up his doors to his new surfboard factory based in the heart of Newquay where it all happens.
